Our client is seeking to hire a talented senior manager as the Commercial Director for its Retail business.

The person will report directly to the Managing Director, and will have full responsibility for the product P&L’s.

The role:Commercial Director UK

  • Full commercial responsibility for the product P&L’s
  • Bring creativity, discipline and innovation to pricing, customer segmentation, competitor insight, retention and up-selling
  • Lead the development of the product pipeline in line with the commercial strategy, to ensure long-term profitability and segment penetration

The person

  • A talented and agile thinker who is naturally inquisitive, with a track record of growing a business line or product segment
  • Possesses strong commercial delivery, problem solving and analytical skills, and is able to ‘sell’ investment cases internally
  • Highly likely to have a retail banking or insurance background, and experience of working in a management consultancy (prior) would be attractive
