At Board level the remit is to ensure the business stays a step ahead of its competitors, wins market share, and grows the branch network further in conjunction with the Executive Chairman.</p>
<p>The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a well-rounded business education and the character, autonomy and business training that will enable them to take tough decisions when necessary. Ideally the successful candidate will have experience gained in a building materials or related growing retail/branch-based distribution business. This will not be a typical nine-to-five existence and the rewards will be commensurate with the effort and abilities required in a private-equity backed business like this including the potential for taking a significant equity stake.</p>

<p>Manage the smooth running of the monthly review of Group financial performance through the Management Committee. Critical to this is the identification and analysis of key drivers of performance in the Group&#8217;s major businesses and territories. <p>Creativity in the delivery of the key messages around the pure financial results is a pre requisite for<br />

<p>As an <strong>Executive Associate (EA)</strong> of our client’s organisation, your role will be to support and advise Managing Directors / Owners (MD&#8217;s) of mostly small to medium sized businesses. Your appointments will generally be with an MD who wishes to speak to an Executive Associate about their problems, needs, concerns, or plans. On average this initial appointment normally lasts between 2 to 3 hours.</p>

<p>Your experience combined with the extensive in-house training and comprehensive support provided by our client, will ensure that you are able to provide support and mentoring whenever and wherever business owners need it.</p>

<p>You will have full access to the global network of knowledge, skills, experience and contacts and consequently what is undoubtedly the most comprehensive business support infrastructure in the world to help you and the companies you assist.</p>
<p>You may be <strong>mentoring<strong></strong><strong>, supporting and facilitating</strong><strong> </strong><strong>up to around </strong><strong>10 – 12 </strong><strong>(or more)</strong> different businesses</strong> at any one time, as well as being contracted into other colleague’s clients on specialist assignments. However, you may wish to mentor a smaller number of businesses. The executives are free to choose their own assignment load and to work on a part time or full time basis.</p>
<p>All EA have the freedom to control their own hours, income and destiny without the usual controls and politics of corporate life. Bearing in mind that the more clients you take on, the more money you make! But you control how much you want.</p>
<p>Some EA have already taken early retirement and only want to work part time. Others are experienced consultants with an established client base who use the organisation to top up their workload. Some end up working closely with a single client and take a <span style="text-decoration: underline;">permanent executive</span> or <strong>non-executive director</strong> role.</p>
<p>It is this very flexibility which makes joining our client’s organisation, combined with the <em>training and methodology</em> provided by our client and the support of the established global EA so powerful. Furthermore, the added advantage of you having a large global ‘corporate’ type identity through the use of the organisation’s identity with you using their logo, business cards and personalised email address provides you with a tremendous advantage.</p>
<p>You must be a visionary and proactive manager with excellent people and communication skills, able to work in teams of colleagues on multiple projects simultaneously.</p>
<p>There are no age limitations within this business, with maturity &amp; experience being considered a great advantage &amp; with the client company giving the executives the freedom to work as many or as few projects as they choose each year, so allowing for full or part time commitment.</p>

<p>Our client, a leading, established and respected financial services organisation, is seeking a proven, proactive <em>HO Business Development</em> to continue the development of Affinity Partnerships specifically in Protection Products.</p>
<p><strong>The Role</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>To identify, attract &amp; secure profitable, non-traditional distribution partnership arrangements, continuing to firmly establish ‘affinity relationships’ as a significant distribution channel</li>
<li>The role holder will focus on specific Life &amp; Protection products delivering the business development plan from initial research through to implementation.</li>
<li>The role will require working closely with the bid manager for the completion of RFI’s, formal tender documents and conducting formal presentation bids on behalf of the organisation.</li>
<li>An important element of the role will be to manage the relationship managers and to build internal relationships to ensure the partnerships and embedded within the business operation</li>
<li>The role will work closely with internal marketing teams to develop &amp; maintain business development marketing materials, documents &amp; presentations</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>The Candidate</strong></p>

<li>Proven successful career in new business development, in the affinity arena, within a financial services organisation essential</li>
<li>A successful track record of establishing and developing profitable partner / distributor relationships</li>
<li>An understanding of various distribution channels for financial products and the dynamics of advised vs non-advised sales</li>
<li>Previous roles where compiling complex tender documents &amp; presentations with a view to influencing decision makers is expected</li>
<li>Understanding of marketing communications and the role it can play in optimising the partnership opportunity</li>
<li>A candidate with sophisticated relationship building skills, able to define, communicate, lead and gain buy in to the vision of their department</li>

They are continually looking to increase their product range and forging closer links with their retail/wholesale customers and distributors as well as end users.</p>
<p>Due to an internal promotion the company is looking to recruit an <span style="text-decoration: underline;">experienced Marketing Director</span> to oversee the European function. The selected individual will needs to have a sharp intellect, experience of operating at a corporate/board level and excellent inter-personal skills. Reporting to the European V-P, the successful individual will develop multi channel retail and communication programs as well as initiate a variety of campaigns to strengthen the brand. The person will also be responsible for communicating the customer proposition to both existing and new clients, building awareness of new products and services whilst also enhancing the credentials of the business. Working with Country managers to devise marketing plans which adapt to each region whilst still benefiting from the group structure.</p>
<p>The role will re-define the marketing strategy for European business completely through the line, implement the structural team and <em>Marketing Strategy</em> changes and deliver compelling results in the medium to long term.</p>
<p><strong>Criteria: </strong>The company is seeking an experienced Marketing Director who has operated at an international level in a fast moving environment Experience with branded products in both a b2b and b2c environment would be preferable. Exceptional experience of brand development, marketing propositions and product development. The needs to have significant influencing and strategic skills and experienced at driving major change programs at board level.</p>
