Full-Time Sales Director

Our Client are currently working in close partnership with a leading manufacturer & provider of ROV services to the Oil and Gas industry. They have a large amount of ROV vessels in their fleet and operate on a global basis, with strong relationships with some of the super majors within Oil and Gas. They are focussed around building on these relationships and are always looking to acquire new business where possible, so demand the most experienced staff within the sector to ensure that they succeed in their growth plans.
Due to their aggressive growth plan, they are currently looking for a Sales Director to be part of the team based in the UK. The successful candidate shall have a remit over the North Sea and West Africa, so experience within these areas is key and must be located in Aberdeen or Bergen. You shall be directly responsible for driving sales within this region to ensure that the company targets are not only met but vastly built upon, so an individual with an extensive network of contacts and clients would be preferred, as you must ensure that the company is involved in all major project bid lists and service agreements. Due to the technical nature of the role, it is important that the individual shall have a technical background within the ROV sector and holds the relevant engineering qualifications. This is an extremely exciting opportunity that shall offer the successful individual the chance to progress in a multi-national company, so therefore demands the best individuals from within the sector.
To be considered for the role, you must meet the following requirements:
- Educated to degree level in Mechanical Engineering or a similar discipline (Preferably masters)
- A minimum of 7 Years experience dealing within the Subsea Markets
- At least 5 years experience in dealing with ROV’s (preferably in sales roles)
- Previous sales management experience, able to provide a track record of sales successes.
- Vast ranging network of international clients.
- Located in Aberdeen or Bergen – or willing to relocate
The successful candidate shall receive a basic salary of £90,000 – £110,000 dependent on experience + additional benefits.

This role is not for someone looking to stay within the confines of the office, a ‘hands-on’ attitude is required.
Degree educated with a preference for an engineering background.
